Genuine Sync Terms of Service

Genuine Sync (sync.genuinemusicworld.com) is a music licensing website run by GenuineMusic Productions ("Genuine Music", "we", "us"), 210 N Wells St, Unit 3908, Chicago, IL 60606, john@genuinemusic.tv. By using the site you agree to these Terms. If you buy a license or subscribe, the License Terms for your license type and our Refund Policy also apply.

1. Using the site

You can browse the catalog, search, try tracks against your own video and listen to previews for free, without an account.
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy a license or subscribe. If you buy on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
Videos you load to try music are played and mixed in your browser and are not uploaded to us. See our Privacy Policy.
We may change, pause or remove tracks, features or prices at any time. Changes don't affect licenses you have already bought.

2. Accounts

Web & Social, Online, Online + Stems, Broadcast, Stems add-on and Custom edit licenses don't require an account. Your license is tied to the name and email you give at checkout and to the license ID on your certificate.
The Creator subscription uses an email sign-in link. Keep your email account secure; you are responsible for activity under your sign-in.
One person per Creator account. Don't share your account or sign-in links.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or the License Terms.

3. Prices and payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Prices are in US dollars: Web & Social $149; Online $299; Online + Stems $399; Broadcast $999; Stems add-on $149 (added to a Web & Social or Online license); Custom edit $750 (added to an Online or Broadcast license); Creator $9.99 a month or $79 a year; Campaign from $3,500 a year (by quote, under a separate agreement). Other custom work is quoted individually.
Prices don't include taxes. Where we are required to collect sales tax or VAT, it is shown at checkout before you pay.
Web & Social, Online, Online + Stems, Broadcast, Stems add-on and Custom edit licenses last 1 year from the start date on your certificate and do not renew automatically. Continued paid or broadcast use after the year requires a new license (see the License Terms).
Creator subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel, and the card on file is charged at each renewal. You can cancel at any time; cancelling stops future renewals (see the Refund Policy).
Your license is issued only after your payment succeeds. At checkout you confirm that you agree to these Terms, the License Terms for your license type and the Refund Policy.

4. Previews and downloads

Previews are for evaluating music only. A preview is not a license, and you may not publish, broadcast or distribute anything that uses preview audio.
Any download of usable audio requires payment first. Before purchase, exports and downloads are locked. After purchase you receive the WAV master (and stems or broadcast audio where your license and track include them) by email, through download links that work for 7 days, and the matching export unlocks in the app. If a link expires, email us and we will send a new one.
Previews are streamed at preview quality and are not clean downloads.
You may not record, rip, capture, scrape or download preview audio by any means.

5. Intellectual property

All music, stems, previews, artwork, logos, text and software on Genuine Sync belong to Genuine Music or its licensors. The Genuine Music and Genuine Sync names and logos are our trademarks.
A license gives you only the rights described in the License Terms for your license type. No ownership is sold or transferred to you.
All music is original, human-made work by Genuine Music. No tracks are AI-generated.
Copyright notices: if you believe something on the site infringes your rights, send a notice with enough detail for us to identify the material to john@genuinemusic.tv or to GenuineMusic Productions, 210 N Wells St, Unit 3908, Chicago, IL 60606. If a platform places a claim on your licensed video, email us the video link and your license ID and we will help clear it.

6. Prohibited uses

You may not:

use any music, preview, stem or clip without a valid license, including paid or broadcast use after a license's year has ended;
register any of the music with Content ID, Rights Manager or any fingerprinting system, or with a PRO, publisher or distributor, or claim to own or have written it;
resell, share, redistribute or sublicense files, or include them in templates, sample packs, stock libraries or "music included" products;
use the music, previews, stems or clips to train, fine-tune or prompt AI or machine-learning systems;
scrape the catalog or previews, use bots or bulk downloading, or get around payment or download limits;
share Creator accounts or sign-in links, or exceed the daily clip limit;
interfere with the site, its security or other users, or use the site for anything unlawful;
suggest that Genuine Music or its artists endorse you or your product.

7. Refunds

Sales are final once a file has been downloaded. We refund only a duplicate charge, or a failed or corrupt delivery that we can't fix, when requested within 14 days at john@genuinemusic.tv with your order ID. A refunded or disputed license is void. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The site and previews are provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep the site running and accurate but don't promise it will be error-free or always available. Our only promises about the music are those in the License Terms. Track descriptions, moods, tempos and tags are guides, not guarantees.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Genuine Music's total liability to you arising out of or relating to the site or any purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for the license or subscription the claim relates to, or US $100 if you haven't made a purchase. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or lost-profit damages. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts in Cook County, Illinois have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here removes consumer rights that can't be waived where you live.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will change the "Last updated" date when we do. The version in force when you bought a license applies to that license. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
