When you load a video to try music against it, the video is played and mixed inside your browser. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else. Exports are rendered on your device. If you start checkout with a mix open, your browser keeps that mix (and, if small enough, the video) in its own local storage on your device so it can restore it when you come back from checkout. You can clear it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Checkout runs on Stripe. Stripe collects your card details; we never see or store your full card number. From Stripe we receive what is needed to issue the license: your name, email, billing address, the track and project you enter, and the payment status. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the data it processes: stripe.com/privacy.
We use your email address only to send your license certificate and download links, and to answer you if you reply. These emails are sent through our email provider, Resend. We do not send marketing email and we do not sell or share your email address. If you use Creator mode, your email is also used to send your sign-in link. If you request cutdowns, the name and email you enter are used only to reply to that request.
We keep a record of each license (license ID, track, tier, project, your name and email, and the Stripe payment reference) so we can verify the license, resend files and handle refunds or claims. Order records and music files are stored with our storage provider, Cloudflare. Your browser also stores your verified licenses locally so purchased exports unlock on this device.
When you download a licensed file (from a license email link, a Creator clip, or an unlocked export in the app), our server records the license ID, the file, how it was downloaded, the time, your IP address and your browser or device information (user agent). We use this log only to check licenses, resend files and prevent misuse. It is stored with Cloudflare and kept as long as the license can be used or claimed.
Genuine Sync does not use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies. The site loads only what it needs to work: the page itself from our host (Netlify), the Inter font from Google Fonts, and music previews from Cloudflare. Like any website, these providers receive your IP address and basic browser information when they serve a file, and may keep standard server logs.
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing john@genuinemusic.tv. To delete your Creator account, use the account deletion form (also linked from your Creator account in the app). We keep license records as long as the license can be used or claimed, and as required for tax and accounting.
